Buick Regal reveals facelifted 2020 ZB Holden Commodore

The leaked images of 2020 ZB Holden Commodore’s mid-life refresh has been surfaced on the internet by the carmaker’s Chinese counterpart, Buick. Even though it is not quite the royal treatment, the car has surely received some significant changes since its launch last year.

In the US and China, it holds a badging as the Regal, and the model shares the majority of its mechanicals that are present in the variant, which is sold here in Australia. The body and exterior styling are also quite similar if we compare them side by side. 

Talking about the leaked images, it unveils a mild mid-life exterior facelift, which is only provided to the front and rear bumpers. The colour scheme provided is bronze and features a redesigned grille that now comes with a new mesh insert and a thinner chrome bar. The car now comes with sharper LED headlights, which shows that it is influenced by the look of the Corsa. The front also flaunts modified side vents and revised central air intake. 

Moving to the rear end, the updated Regal features a new bumper that holds trapezoid-shaped tailpipe finishers. There are two wide exhaust tips present on either side that aids in providing a more sportier rear look to the car. Even if there are some pictures of the cabin revealed, it can be assumed that the interiors will also get some subtle changes. 

The engine and other mechanical details are not confirmed yet. However, it is likely to come equipped with the same 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol and diesel mill, along with a mighty 3.6-litre naturally aspirated V6 engine. If the leak images are not enough to satisfy your desires, then you should wait for Holden to release the official images of the car.
