A perfect blend of sportiness and elegance
The thing which attracted me the most towards the Mazda 3 Sedan is the way it looks on the outside. For an entry level sedan, the Mazda 2 Sedan looks extremely attractive and aerodynamic, which makes it look as if it belongs to one segment above. It does look premium with the sufficient amount of chrome and machined alloy wheels. However, what is a bit disappointing for me is the fact that it does not has the same big car feel and appeal on the inside, as it exudes on the outside. The rear seats feel a bit cramped with limited shoulder room and head room, for a taller rider like me. However, the premium build quality and wide dashboard does manage to create a premium appeal. While the driving posture and front seats are spot on in terms of comfort and ergonomics, the minimalist centre console feels a bit less premium. I also wish that the touchscreen infotainment system was a bit larger in size, and the lack of Android Auto is a bit of a hassle.
