Mazda 2 Hatch

Mazda 2 is a well-designed lightweight hatchback car, it offers stylish exterior and interiors, exhilarating engine performance with good fuel economy, and comfortable ride. It’s available in four trims Neo, Maxx, Genki, and GT. The base variant prices start from $15,320, and it’s available in both 6-speed SKYACTIV automatic and manual transmission. Coming to the powertrain and its specifications, Neo is powered by a 1.5L I4 standard petrol engine that can produce a maximum power of 79 kw at 6,000rpm and torque of 139 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Whereas, rest of the variants, Maxx, Genki and GT are powered by the 1.5L I4 high-spec petrol engine that can produce a maximum power of 81 kw at 6,000rpm and torque of 141Nm at 4,000rpm. Along with the identical engine, these variants of Mazda 2 are also coupled with the same 6-speed SKYACTIV manual and automatic transmission system. Moreover, the prices of Maxx starts from $18,080, and  Genki's prices start from $21,140, and for top trim GT the prices start from $22,150.

Mazda sells these hatchback at a wide price range and has also kept the features in that way. However, in the first two variants, you’ll get to see a lot of standard interiors, exterior and safety features. Such as, in terms of exteriors, Neo and Maxx appear with body-coloured door handles, front and rear bumpers, green-tinted windscreen, side and rear mirrors, electric folding side mirrors, window demister, power windows, and halogen headlamps. And the rest two trims, Genki and GT comes standard with LED daytime running lights, exhaust chrome extension, LED front fog lamps, LED headlamps with auto on/off function, and auto-folding side mirrors. 

Furthermore, in terms of infotainment, the base variant Neo comes with the 4-speakers set but lacks the touch-screen display. To listen to your favorite songs you have to switch to AM/FM or you can connect a device via AUX or Bluetooth. Whereas the top three variants are equipped with the 7-inch touchscreen display with MZD connect, DAB+ digital radio, multifunction commander control, satellite navigation, and 6-speaker system. 

Many interiors and ride comfort features are standard among all the variants like advance keyless push-button engine start/stop, one-touch driver window, cruise control, air conditioning, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering, map lamps, entry system with a delayed light fade-out, and critical function warning lights. In addition to these features, the top two trims Genki and GT come equipped with an active driving display, and air conditioning with the climate control system. 

Moreover, Mazda has also kept essential active and passive safety security features standard in hatchback 2.
