The first three models of Cerato are powered by the 2.0L DOHC 4-cylinder petrol engine. This engine can produce a maximum power of 112kW at 6,200rpm and torque of 192Nm at 4,000rpm. Whereas the topping model, GT is powered by 1.6L DOHC T-GDI 4-cylinder petrol engine. It’s well-tuned and refined, this engine will deliver you the spirit GT cars. It can produce a maximum power of 150 kW at 6,000 rpm and torque of 265 Nm at 1,500-4,500 rpm. Kia Cerato comes with the 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission system that’s available only with GT. 

Cerato is smartly equipped with all the essential safety features that make riding in it fun and safe. From the base variant, Kia offers many active and passive safety features standard. In terms of active safety elements, this sedan offers you the ABS with EBD and brake assist, ESC with the traction control system, vehicle stability management system, HAC, and emergency stop signal.
