The cabin is well laid-out featuring LED lights at front and rear, also there are driver and passenger sun-visors with illuminated vanity mirror & extension. The metal look interior trim on console, door handles and air vent surrounds add to the plush styling. The Kia Sorento range is fitted with a power steering with tilt and telescopic adjustable unit. At front, it equips McPherson strut units and rear comes with multi-link suspension units. Tweaks have been made to improve the ride quality and handling. 

Kia Sorento line-up is available with a petrol and diesel engine with a choice of an eight-speed automatic gearbox in front wheel and all-wheel drivetrain system. The 3.5-litre, V6 DOHC MPI petrol unit makes 206 kW at 6,300 rpm and 336 Nm torque at 5,000 rpm. Diesel version derives power from a 2.2-litre, in-line, four-cylinder E-VGT oil burner tuned to belt out 147 kW at 3,800 rpm against 441 Nm torque between 1,750 to 2,750 rpm. The SUV comes with multiple driving modes including comfort, eco, sport and smart. 

Stopping power is derived from 320 mm ventilated disc units at the front and 305 mm solid disc brakes at the rear. The safety suit on the Sorento comprises a plethora of active and passive safety tech such as anti-lock-braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist, electronic stability control with TCS, vehicle stability management, hill start assist control, emergency stop signal, front & reverse parking sensors with dash display, rearview camera with in-audio screen display & dynamic parking guidelines.
