Like the S5 Coupe, the Sportback comes in just the one trim with only one option for the drivetrain. This is a 3L six-cylinder turbocharged petrol mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission and sending the power to all four wheels through Quattro AWD. The engine similarly produces 260 kW and 500 Nm of torque making for a spirited driving experience. This being the top-spec trim is kitted out to the gills. The interior gets Napa leather upholstery and ambient LED lighting, an 8.3” touchscreen infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, Bang and Olufsen speakers and Audi’s virtual cockpit driver’s display with a 12.3” display. The driver also gets to use a 360-degree camera and park assist. Safety is also well catered for with adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane assist, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert among others. The Audi S5 Sportback is very modern and upmarket. Starting from the comfort to the features, everything seems to be in the best shape. The fine Nappa leather upholstery can be had in three different colours and patterns. The flat-bottom steering wheel is also wrapped in fine leather. The front seats have electric lumbar support with memory function for optimum comfort. Moreover, the front seats are heated too.
For the instrument console, Audi uses the same appearance of Virtual Cockpit digital display. The touchscreen infotainment system stands on the dashboard as a pop-up screen and navigation as well. The air-conditioning system makes the cabin even more comfortable. However, the headroom for the rear row is a bit modest and might not be sufficient for tall passengers.

The cabin is comfortable with climate control and adjustable seats. However, the only section where you can complain about is the headroom for the rear row. Due to the Sportback body style, the sloping roofline at the rear reduces the headroom, especially for tall occupants.
