Audi RS lineup goes blue on its 25th anniversary
Back in the days, well, right about 25 years ago, Audi brought out the RS2 Avant, a performance-oriented yet very practical car for the masses who wanted to have a taste of both thrill and calm in a single package. Now, in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of Audi's RS lineup, the German automaker has dipped the newest iteration of the RS lineup in the iconic Nogaro blue shade.
Moreover, Audi is offering the special "Anniversary Package" in Europe that will get you any of the Audi TT RS, RS4, RS5, RS6, and RS7 models in the iconic Nogaro blue color along with several "25RS" badges. Also, other elements that come as a part of the "Anniversary Package" include matte aluminium aero blades inlays, side skirts, rear diffuser inserts, and gloss black trim pieces on the outside. Just in case the Nogaro blue is what a customer wants, Audi is also offering many other finishes as well.
The special "25RS" logo that we mentioned a while back makes its way on all of the wheel hubs, door inlays, puddle lighting, and seatbacks. When launched 25 years ago, the Audi RS2 was powered by a five-cylinder turbocharged motor that produced a good 315 hp of maximum power.
At present, the current RS models like the RS6, RS7, and the RSQ8 house an eight-cylinder mill. The RS4 and RS5, on the other hand, get a twin-turbo V6 motor, while the RS3 and the TT RS are powered by a five-cylinder powerhouse.
As we mentioned before, the special "Anniversary Package" is available in Europe, and the price starts at €9350 ($15,000).
