One might think that buying a Toyota 86 in this day and age is not a wise decision to make. And it might be right in certain ways, with the extremely dated and old fashioned cabin layout of the 86 seriously deteriorating its overall appeal. Thus, the Toyota 86 might not hold a candle in front of the modern day sports coupes which have flashy electronics and features to position themselves one level up. But then again, there is no other sports coupe at the price of a Toyota 86 which provides sheer amount of fun and driving dynamics – a price which is almost half of the cheapest European sports coupe. The overall performance is not intimidating, but thrilling enough to keep my nerves on point. For those who value pure driving pleasure, the Toyota 86 stills makes a strong case for itself.
