2020 Hyundai Venue Launch Edition priced at $25,990, limited to 100 units

The all-new crossover Hyundai Venue is about to hit the Australian market soon and as already known the price starts from $19,990 before on-road costs. In the meantime, the automaker has released Venue Launch Edition along with the three-tier line-up, which is priced at $25,990 before on-road costs. The production of a special launch variant is limited to just 100 units.

The Launch Edition is based on the top-spec Elite and in price-comparison, it costs $500 more than it. But the price hike justifies with provided powered sunroof and exclusive single-tone color choices, not available across the other variants. Exotic Green and Lava Orange accompanied by black cloth interior trim are the available color shades of the special edition.

The drivetrain is equipped with a 1.6-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine and six-speed automatic transmission delivering 122 PS of power at 6300 rpm and 151 Nm of torque at 4850 rpm. As based on the top-spec Elite, it incorporates all its standard equipment including 17-inch alloy wheel, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, LED tail-lights, rear privacy glass, satellite navigation, and climate control air-conditioning.

Other tech and styling features include LED daytime running lights, rear parking sensors, six-speaker audio, power-folding side mirrors, front centre armrest, leather steering wheel, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, camera-based AEB for urban/interurban with pedestrian detection, driver attention warning, lane-keep assist, tyre pressure monitoring, and automatic headlights.

Hyundai Motor Australia CEO, JW Lee stated, “The new Venue is ahead of the curve, offering customers a high level of value in a practical and well-equipped compact SUV. As our new range-entry model, the Venue combines the rugged looks and practical benefits of an SUV and a light car, with advanced safety technology at an attractive price point.” The model is ready to launch next week.
