Suzuki S-Cross

S-Cross earlier known as SX4 sedan has now evolved into a powerful compact SUV vehicle. With changes in its external and internal dimensions, the mechanical performance has also enhanced. And now it’s powered by a 1.4-litre turbojet engine that puts out maximum power of 138 hp at 5500 rpm and torque of 162 ft-lbs at 4000 rpm. 

This car is available in two trims S-cross Turbo and S-cross Turbo Prestige, and prices vary from $26,990-$27,990. Both variants share many identical features. However, top variant looks more premium as it offers rain-sensing wipers, rear LED taillights, 17-inch polished alloy wheels, daytime running lights, and leather accented seats.

You can pick your favourite S-Cross from four colour ranges, and it’s available in cool white, indigo blue, silky silver, and galactic grey. 

Moreover, in terms of driving amenities, you’ll get standard power windows (front and rear), keyless push start/stop, speed limiter, dual-zone digital climate control air conditioner, satellite navigation, cruise control, apple car play, and bluetooth connectivity. 

However, as discussed, when it comes to the exteriors of S-cross, some features are only available with its top trim such as you’ll get a LED projector headlamps, automatic headlamps with positioning, automatic wipers, and automatic day/night rearview mirror. Whereas with its base variant you’ll get halogen headlamps, and manual day/night rearview mirror. Although many features are standard in both variants like privacy glass, front fog lamps, front and rear washer, outside door electrically adjustable and folding mirrors with built-in turn signal lamps. 

Now, coming to the interiors of this car, it offers multiple features that’ll make your ride comfy and convienient, such as front and rear centre armrest, USB port fitted in central armsrest, a 12-V accesory socket in centre lower box and luggage area. And, leather-covered steering that comes equipped with audio, cruise control, speed limiter controls. It’s information display displays many vital metrics such as outside temperature, fuel consumption, driving range, average speed, gear position indicator, and gear shift indicator. 

In terms of transmission, unlike other cars that offer different engine alternatives among various trims, S-Cross comes with standard six-speed automatic transmission mode with paddle shifters. 

And, when it comes to the safety of passengers, this car gives true value for money, and it comes equipped with rear parking sensors, rear camera, ABS, EBD, ESC, Hill Hold Control, Brake Assist System, dual airbags for front passengers, side airbags, curtain airbags, and knee airbags. 

Turning to the handling of this car, you can take sharp turns with ease, and can even get out of packed parking slots as it’s turning radius is only 5.4 m.
