Suzuki Vitara

The Suzuki Vitara, also known as the Suzuki Escudo, is a five-seat, four-door compact SUV which has been in the market since a few years now. The company recently launched the updated Series II Vitara in Australia with added technology, a subtle new look, and increased prices. The upgrade features subtle re-sculpting at the front end. The new-look LED daytime running lights, and a reworked bumper differentiates it from its forerunner. All Vitara models come fitted with 17-inches alloy wheels, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, cruise control, climate control, satellite navigation, seven airbags, a reversing camera and keyless entry as standard equipment. Other new additions include a sliding front armrest, a 4.2-inch colour LCD trip computer and soft-touch upper dash plastics. The 2019 Vitara is available in three models, powered by two engines carried over from the previous model, the 1.6-litre Vitara, the 1.4-litre turbocharged Vitara Turbo and the Vitara Turbo AWD. The base variant gets a five-speed manual transmission, while a six-speed auto with paddle shifters perform transmission duties on higher models. Current prices for the Suzuki Vitara range between $21,990 and $35,990 for the top-spec model.
