2019 Nissan Navara ute range is on sale in Australia, with a new variant N-Trek

The revised 2019 Nissan Navara ute range has been launched in the Australian market. The main update for this generation is the inclusion of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity on selected variants.

The revised 2019 Nissan Navara is available in three different versions, ST-X, SL, and ST. The base SL is equipped with a 5.0-inch screen, which is now updated. As a result, the screen can provide navigation through smartphone mirroring. On the other hand, the ST and ST-X model comes with a new inbuilt TomTom satellite navigation system. The new black headlight bezels are now standard across all the variants and the ST model is equipped with black side steps.

All these models get a new 8-inch AIVI (Alliance In-Vehicle Infotainment system) as standard. It features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as mentioned earlier and has a new interface. Furthermore, it comes with USB, AM/FM radio, Bluetooth and AUX connections

Despite providing modern features, the brand has kept the entire range’s price low. The starting price tag of the AIVI-equipped Nissan ute (Navara Dual Cab ST 4x2 ) is $40,800 excluding on-road costs. On the other hand, to get the metallic paint one has to pay $595 more.

Apart from the infotainment upgrade, Nissan Australia adds N-Trek version of the car in the Navara range. It is slotted as the flagship version in the entire range. The car is based on the top-spec ST-X Dual Cab and it will get an array of new features along with cosmetic upgrades.

 

Frequent usage of black paint is visible in the new vehicle. It includes black wheel arch extensions, 18-inch black alloy wheels, black lower body side decals, a black alloy sports bar, black LED headlight bezels and a black rear bumper. The mirror caps, side steps, and lower front fascia also get the black paint job having the orange accent.

 

The interior of the car also tells the same story as outside. Usage of black and orange combination is featured inside. The car gets heated front seats and the driver’s seat is electronically adjustable along with having lumbar support. Moreover, the N-Trek comes with an updated 8.0-inch AIVI navigation system, which also features the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Speaking of the price, the base price tag of the N-Trek is $56,450 that has a six-speed manual transmission, while it costs $58,950 to get the seven-speed auto.
