You can match your XC90 with the D5 2.0L twin-turbocharged diesel engine which can produce the maximum power of 173 kW at 4000rpm and torque of 480 Nm at 1750–2250 rpm. Or, you can also go for the T6 2.0L supercharged and turbocharged petrol engine. It can deliver maximum power of 235 kW at 5700 rpm and torque of 400 Nm at 2200–5400 rpm. While the top model, R-Design is available with three engine options. You can go for plug-in hybrid 2.0L supercharged and turbocharged petrol engine which can deliver the power of 246 kW at 6000 rpm + 65 kW at 7000 rpm (electric) and torque of 440 Nm at 2200- 4500 rpm + 240 Nm at 0–3000 rpm (electric). R-Design can also be mated with the D5 and T6 engines that are refined individually for R-Design. With this, D5 can produce a maximum power of 177 kW at 4000 rpm and torque of 500 Nm at 1500 - 2500 rpm. And, the T6 engine can make the power of 246 kW at 6000 rpm and torque of 440 Nm at 4500 rpm.
