I have just bought a Kluger and I must say I made a great decision. Having owned 4WDs for most of my life, including most recently a 120 series Prado my expectations with the Kluger were quite high and it did deliver. I use my car every day; it is comfortable and reliable. I use it around the town and on the freeway as well. It fits our family of seven with ease and I recommend it over other family rigs. I travel a lot, so features like adaptive cruise control and auto braking come really handy and make my rides comfortable and safe. The built quality of the Kluger is really solid. But, comfort is compromised a bit because of the seats. It feels like I am sitting on top of them and not in them. The engine is powerful and is paired perfectly with the eight-speed CVT transmission for a smooth ride. On average, it consumes around 11 litres of fuel per 100kms on the combined cycle, which is decent enough. A go-to car for any mid-size family.
