My dream of having an affordable convertible sportscar finally got accomplished with the Mazda CX-5. First and foremost, the Mazda CX-5 has got just the right proportions of being a daily drive. The car looks small, but it definitely has got a certain road presence, thanks to its openable roof. The low slung stance and curvy shape were the aspects which gave me a very good first impression. I am particularly impressed by the way things are put up together inside the car, however, I do wish that the overall layout and design of the dashboard were slightly more dramatic. The cabin feels a bit too simple for its character of a sportscar. But then, the moment I start driving this car, I just forget this slight niggle, as the Mazda MX-5 is one fantastic car to throw into corners.
