A curvy large hatchback on stilts
The Mazda CX-3 might not be a full fledged rugged vehicle as I had expected it to be. However, with the raised stance and urban friendly dimensions, the crossover makes me feel that I am actually driving a bigger vehicle than a conventional hatchback. The presence of body cladding does add a touch of ruggedness to the otherwise curvy and sporty design, which for me, looks quite unique. However, the main reason why I went forward with the Mazda CX-3 as my new ride is the fact that it feels premium and equipped with a lot of premium features. At its price, the Mazda CX-3 offers me an electric sunroof, 360-degree parking camera, electric parking brake, leather upholstery and a lengthy list of safety features. That being said, when it comes to features, the Mazda CX-3 has really managed to up the ante in the category of compact crossovers. However, I do wish that the interior cabin layout was a bit more fulfilling and contemporary, given the fact that the minimal looking centre console looks way too simple and plain for an attractive looking car like the Mazda CX-3. The driver’s cockpit too looks very conventional with slightly dated looking instrument console.
