A compact hatchback with premium essence
At times when people are after aggressive cuts and creases in the design of their cars, I genuinely prefer the curvaceous appeal of the Mazda 2 Hatch. The thoughtful design of the Mazda 2 Hatch looks timeless in my opinion, however, the rear profile looks a bit too simple and lacks the visual drama of the front and side profiles. Despite its compact dimensions, I do love the big car feel of the Mazda 2 Hatch on the inside, which is all thanks to the wide and clutter free theme of the dashboard. However, I do wish that the dashboard had the extrovert appeal of the exterior design, as it looks tad too simple. The touchscreen infotainment system feels easy to use, however, the system looks as if it is an after-thought in terms of design. What I also miss is Apple Carplay in the system, which makes this system a bit dated for me. I do love the way the front seats are too supportive and comfortable, however, I personally found the rear seat space to be a bit cramped. I am almost 6ft tall, and the curvy roofline at the rear limits the headroom for me.
