New Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV leaked ahead of its official debut

The upcoming ute-based Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV has been leaked ahead of its official debut. Recently, a slew of images has been floating around that are likely to be the new SUV.

Going with the leaks, the front fascia of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV comes with similar styling cues like Triton. The headlamps are now simplified and are flanked by a 'Dynamic Shield' grille. The fog lights are more prominent and are placed on the front bumper. To make the look more stylish the car has a bash plate. 

The taillights come with fresh LED internals. The units are provided with a smokey type glass. The lower rear bumper is completely revamped and features a silver garnish that matches the front bash plater. It comes with a fresh boot spoiler too. The car rolls on an all-new set of alloy wheels.

Getting inside the coaster, there are a plethora of modern features that enhance the premiumness. Its centre stack is not similar to the outgoing model as the things are shuffled and it also gets lower-set air conditioning controls.

The currently available Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV was launched in 2015, which has one of the strongest sales counts among the ute-based SUVs. It falls just behind of the Isuzu MU-X, which has recorded a sales count of 500 year-to-date. The car has outsold the likes of Ford Everest, Holden Trailblazer, and Toyota Fortuner.

The all-new Triton is also likely to have a lot of minor powertrain updates. However, the company has not spoken much about the oily bits. To recall, the ongoing Pajero Sport equips a 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine, which is capable of pushing out a maximum power of 178 hp and the peak torque is at 430 Nm.
