Check out Gazelle Storm and Navara Gazelle concepts cars by Nissan

Nissan showcased two unique Gazelle concept car models at Dubai International Motor Show. The models named as Gazelle Storm and Navara Gazelle are exclusively designed for the Middle East and have taken inspiration from the swift gazelle i.e., an iconic animal found in the region. 

“The Middle East inspired the very creation of the Patrol Safari range. With its rugged exterior good-looks and superb off-roading capabilities that can conquer any terrain, the car has gained legendary status in the popular culture of the region. At Nissan, we understand the importance and enduring popularity of this iconic nameplate to the people of the Gulf and in response to that demand, Nissan set out to create this exciting concept car,” said Thierry Sabbagh, Managing Director of Nissan Middle East.

Speaking of the Gazelle Storm, it is based on the brand’s iconic model Nissan Patrol and carries the potential to deliver an unparalleled off-road experience. The off-roading capability is higher than the Patrol because of the higher approach angle and an on-board tire compressor added to the model. It promises to deliver the enjoyment of dune bashing and overland experiences to the off-roaders.

To add more comfort and fun, it comes with a built-in protective storage box for off-road gear and camping equipment, a barbecue holder, drawers and fridge. Under the hood, it is equipped with a 4.8L 6-cylinder engine.

Moving to Navara Gazelle, it is a work truck that can be turned to a leisure truck. Its durable build and striking appearance make it perfect for working as well as for playing. If we look at the Navara Gazelle specs sheet, it includes a built-in compressor, tailgate spoilers, new bumpers, enhanced suspension shocks, and a two-inch lift kit. It is powered by a 2.5-litre engine, and available in petrol and diesel variants both.
