2020 Honda Civic hatchback facelift revealed, coming to Australia in early 2020

Honda is all set to roll out the facelifted version of the popular Civic Hatchback. Following the footprints of its sibling, the large sedan, the new hatch will hit the Australian market in early 2020. The Civic hatch was launched one year after the tenth-gen Civic Sedan and Coupe, and has now reached the midpoint of its cycle. So, to keep it fresh, the model is updated by adding a small set of new features that are similar to the one that made it to the Civic sedan, arrived in February this year.

The 2020 Civic hatch was recently showcased in Europe and if we look at the exterior changes, we can find a revised bumper, LED lamps, LED daytime running lights, and body-colored crossbar in the fog lights. At the rear end, the model get highlights on the rear-bumper. All the trims come with new alloy wheel designs now to mark a difference between the new and existing ones.

Inside the cabin, 2020 Honda Civic Hatchback possesses new dash trims for different variants. The model comes with a new infotainment system that includes physical buttons and a volume knob and also a dual-zone climate control with hard buttons given to control fan speed.

Moving to the new Civic engine specs, the model is powered by the same 1.8-litre naturally aspirated mill for the base models producing 141 PS of power and 174 Nm of torque. And a bigger 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine for high-spec models delivering 172 PS of power and 220 Nm of torque.
