Suzuki Ignis

The lightweight Ignis is Suzuki’s only small-size premium urban compact-SUV vehicle in Australia, that is especially produced for city riders which love to drop the traffic behind. You can easily move around in your city as its turning radius is only 4.7 m. 

Suzuki offers Ignis with a single powertrain system, and two transmission modes manual and CVT. Among both variants GL and GLX, and you’ll get a 1.2-litre dual jet engine that produces the maximum power of 88 hp at 6000rpm and torque of 120Nm at 4400rpm. This engine gives astounding power output, along with a manageable mileage of 4.7L/100km. So with a 32L fuel tank capacity of this car, you can drive as far as 680 kms. 

Designed for city riders, Ignis is available in six colour ranges, and you can get your hands on fervent red that comes with black roof and titanium interiors, neon blue metallic with titanium interiors, mineral grey with titanium interiors, pure white and metallic flame orange, both of them comes with orange interiors. Plus, you can customize this car as you want, and you can customize front grille center bar, front grille, fog light bezels, wheel decals, and mirror covers. Moreover, in terms of interiors you can get evenly painted inside handle, center console, and even air conditioner louvre. 

The base variant of Ignis comes with 15-inch steel wheels, manual air conditioner, 4-speakers. Whereas the other and top variant comes with automatic air conditioner, 4-speakers with 2-tweeters, 16-inch alloy wheels that further ramp up the SUV look of Ignis. 

In terms of exteriors, Ignis is full of wonders and it offers standard fog lamps, LED projector/halogen headlamps, guide me light, and privacy glass.  

Going by the classification of this car, it has elevated seats that give you higher eye viewpoint just like the SUVs’. Plus, with elevated seats, you get spacious legroom as well. 

Inside Ignis you get a 7-inch multi-touch display and with it you can control and adjust audio and video settings, navigation with ease. Moreover, in term of connectivity, you get Bluetooth, apple auto and android support. 

Steering wheels come with mounted buttons and you can easily access multimedia, calling controls, and cruise control while keeping your focus on the road ahead. However, Keyless push start function is only available in the top variant of Ignis.

In terms of features, you’ll get a standard 12V power outlet and USB port tailored in the instrument panel, cabin lights, cup holders, and bottle holders. And, an information display that shows driving range, outside temperature, average speed, and fuel consumption. 

Almost all safety and security features are standard in both variants of Ignis, and you’ll get dual front, side and curtain airbags, reversing camera, child seat tether anchorage, ABS, EBD, ESC, Hill Assist, Hill Hold, and Brake Assist System. 

Ignis has a distinctive yet attractive look that seeks attention. However, as a mini-SUV, it fails to deliver the power that SUV car. But it meets the expectations of those looking for a mileage-manageable crossover vehicle.
