Kia Sportage

The 2019 Kia Sportage was introduced in the Australian market with AEB, standard lane keep assist, and a new eight-speed transmission for the diesel engine. The prices have increased by $1000 to $2100 depending on the model. The petrol-powered option is only available in front-wheel-drive option with the 2.0-litre engine, while the turbo-diesel is offered all across the range, but only in four-wheel-drive configuration. It also receives the new Kia in-house eight-speed automatic transmission, which has unchanged peak outputs. Standard kit across the range includes Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), with forward collision warning, lane-keep assist, high-beam assist, rear-view camera with dynamic guidelines and rear parking sensors. Other features include a 7.0-inches touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cloth seating, automatic headlights and wipers, cruise control, Bluetooth phone, and audio streaming, along with 17-inch alloy wheels. Furthermore, the 2019 Sportage also gets an updated suspension setup for an enhanced ride, control, and comfort. The 2019 Kia Sportage starts retailing at $29,990 and goes up to $44,790 (all prices are MSRP).
