Ford Escape

The Ford Escape is essentially the renamed Ford Kuga. As a midsize SUV, it delivers on every front that you would expect. There are four trims to choose from. Additionally, there are three engine choices including a frugal yet powerful diesel and the option of an intelligent AWD. The smallest of the engines is a 1.5L EcoBoost petrol producing 110 kW with the 6-speed manual or 134 kW with the 6-speed automatic transmission. The other petrol engine is a 2L turbocharged EcoBoost making 178 kW and 345 Nm. The diesel engine is a 2L Duratorq turbocharged unit making 132 kW and 400 Nm of torque. The diesel engine comes coupled to a dual-clutch 6-speed automatic transmission. The Escape is also well equipped with an 8” touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
