The second booking round of Toyota Supra starts on July 17

The premium carmaker, Toyota has announced that the second round of the order for the new Supra will commence on July 17’s midday. Only 100 units of the popular coupe will be available, and the consumer can choose between the GTS and GT model grades.

It was June 19 when the first round of the booking of the Toyota Supra was held. In this event, the carmaker has put only 150 cars to grab, and all the units got sold out in just 22 minutes.

Furthermore, the second round buyers will not get the option to buy Nurburg Matte Grey paint, since the entire allocation in Australia for the ultra-limited colour sold out.

To avail the order online, one has to log on to the myToyota portal at the time mentioned above. This will be followed by an application form, which needs to be filled, and the buyers will need to select the colour as well as the trim level. After that, a fully-refundable reservation fee of $1,000 has to be paid.

After completing the process, the concierge of Toyota will contact the person for confirmation of the booking and the specific build, which will also require a deposit of $4,000.

To recall, the new Toyota Supra is available in two different trims - GT and GTS. The former carries a price tag of $ 84,900, while the latter is priced $94,900. The on-road costs are not included in both the price tags.

The GT comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, autonomous emergency braking, LED headlights, an 8.8-inch touchscreen, dual-zone climate, parking sensors, folding mirrors, and wireless phone charging pad. On the other hand, the top-spec GTS features a premium JBL sound system, 19-inch forged alloy wheels, bigger brakes and a head-up display as additional modules.

As for the powertrain, the car comes with a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six mill sourced from BMW. It pushes out a maximum power of 335 hp along with a peak torque of 500 Nm. The mill helps the coaster to complete the 100 kmph sprint in just 4.4 seconds.
