Audi revealed pricing and specs of 2020 Audi TT and TT S coupe

The pricing and specifications of all-new Audi TT and TT S coupe have been unveiled by the automaker recently. And, as compared to the ongoing versions, the refreshed models are priced slightly higher at $79,900 before on-road costs. Upgrades include all-wheel-drive and added equipment across the range which justifies the increased price of $5000.

Apart from minor styling changes on the exterior, TT 45 TFSI Quattro gets LED headlights with dynamic scrolling rear indicators and auto-folding exterior mirrors. New body shades Cosmos Blue, Pulse Orange, and Turbo Blue are also included in the range; TT 45 TFSI offers all three choices but TT S comes with Pulse Orange and Turbo Blue choice.

On the oily bits, the base variants come with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine delivering 229 PS of power and 370 Nm of torque and claimed to hit 100km/h in 5.3 seconds. While the more powerful TT S is powered by a higher tune of the 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, producing 285 PS of power and 380 Nm of torque and the firm claims the hit of 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. The price of more powerful TT S starts from $99,900 (-$1955) and gets extra specification to the tune of more than $8500.

Other upgraded appointments include a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, standard metallic paint, red brake calipers, heated front seats, nappa leather upholstery, and Audi phone box light with wireless phone charging. Driver assistance features incorporate blind-spot monitoring, lane keep assist, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, progressive steering, and cruise control with speed limiter.

Audi provides the option to customize the vehicle by offering two new optional packages- the S line sport package and S performance package for the 2020 model year. S line sport package priced at $7990, comprises 19-inch alloy wheels in unique design, the S line exterior package, S sport front seats, aluminum interior accents, along with the Audi premium sound system. And S performance package with the TT S priced at $4900, includes matrix LED headlights, black high-gloss exterior accents, auto-dimming side mirrors, park assist, and the extended leather package.
