2020 Audi RSQ8 has arrived in the flesh
The brand-new RSQ8 is here. Coming out from the stable of Audi Sport, the performance-oriented flagship SUV will sit above the SQ8. Speaking of the engine under the hood of the 2020 Audi RSQ8, it is the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 motor that we have already seen on the RS6 Avant and RS7 models. The spec sheet reads 441 kW of maximum power and 800 Nm of peak torque. Sending power to all four wheels is the Quattro all-wheel-drive system that works in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Making the 2020 Audi RSQ8 stand out from the standard model of the flagship SUV are a racier rear diffuser, oval tailpipes, new front bumper, 22-inch chunky alloy wheels, roof-edge spoiler, and gloss black exterior accents. On the inside, the uniquities include RS-specific displays, bolstered sports seats, virtual cockpit digital instruments, and the MMI infotainment system.
Audi has also equipped the 2020 RSQ8 with a 12 kW mild-hybrid system and cylinder deactivation. As far as the performance of the German flagship SUV is concerned, the 2020 Audi RSQ8 is capable of doing a 0-100 kmph run in 3.8 seconds and can go up to 200 kmph in 13.7 seconds. Moreover, the SUV comes with an electronically-limited top speed of 250 kmph. Just in case that is not enough for you, go for the Dynamic Package and the 2020 Audi RSQ8 will touch 305 kmph without a fuss.
Speaking of other mechanical bits, there is an air suspension system that is adjustable by 90 mm. Also making its way to the 2020 Audi RSQ8 is the electromechanical active roll stabilisation with electrically-powered anti-roll bars. Wait, there's even more. For better handling capabilities, you also get rear-wheel steering.
