2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE recalled over exterior trim concern
The German automaker has initiated a recall of the 2019 GLE over its exterior trim detachment issue. According to the company, the exterior trim divider fitted on the rear windows could have been incorrectly attached.
There are chances that the trim divider loosens up and leaves its position on the car while driving, which may result in crash risks. This is a precautionary measure to avoid any kind of injury to other road users.
The company has started reaching out to the owners for a free check and repair if required. As per our knowledge, a list of 780 cars has been issued by the firm, which can be affected by this recall.
You need to enter your car’s vehicle identification number (VIN) and the results will show if your car has been recalled or not. In case nothing appears after submitting the car’s VIN, this means that your car is in proper condition and you need not visit the dealership outlet for inspection.
The recall process is likely to get underway from 3rd December 2019.
