2017-19 Toyota Coaster recalled due to faulty front hazard lamps

2017-19 Toyota Coaster recalled due to faulty front hazard lamps

Due to the front hazard lamps which could cause the fuse to blow, Toyota Australia has recalled the 2017-19 manufactured models of the Toyota Coaster bus in the country. The Japanese automaker has stated frequent or over-use of the front hazard lamps could cause the fuse to blow up and leave the warning lamps and turn signals broken.

Courtesy of the non-functional warning lamps and turn signals, the bus driver might end in trouble as he/she won't be able to alert other drivers and riders on the road about him/her taking a turn. This might result in accidents taking place and causing injuries.

The recall includes as many as 683 units of the Toyota Coaster, and the automaker will fix the issue at no cost after contacting the affected owners. To check whether or not your unit is a part of the recall, check out the VIN list.
