Recent Updates of D-Max
The Isuzu D-Max ute got a final facelift before it gets replaced by an all-new model in 2020. The MY19, or model year 2019, features subtle cosmetic changes. The cosmetic changes include the new 18-inch alloys on the flagship LS-T, which now comes wrapped in 'highway terrain' tyres. There are new side steps, and the roof rails and lower bumper grille slates are now black. The D-Max is offered in a large number of variants spread across three categories - Crew Cab, Space Crab and Single Cab. Powering the D-Max is the Isuzu 3-litre turbo diesel engine, which produces a mammoth 430Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated with an automatic six-speed transmission. The flagship, 4X4 L-ST Crew Cab model features passive entry and start system, touchscreen audio with satellite navigation, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, leather accented seats, reversing camera and roof rails; it is available in seven colour schemes. The 2019 Isuzu D-Max range starts from $28,500, while the top-spec model retails at $54,700 (all prices are MSRP).

Talking about the exterior, the D-MAX presents a tough, muscular stance with subtle, flowing lines. It comes with projector headlights that provide better visibility by cutting down the glare from approaching vehicle lights. Fog lights present on the D-Max scatter light wider in tough weather conditions. The side steps not only improve the robust exterior look but also make getting in and out much easier. You also get dual-tone machined 18 inches alloy wheels, enabling the car to scale any terrain without much struggle. The LED tail lamps are practical and stylish. This car comes equipped with an electronic fold in mirrors with integrated LED indicators that protect them from accidental bumps in car parks.

Electronic stability control is like a third hand on the steering wheel that detects if you are oversteering and send commands to ABS and TCS to keep you in control. On emergency braking situations, EBA takes over and reduces stopping distance. The anti-lock braking system, hill descent control, trailer sway away control, EBD, TCS, and six airbags are some of the safety features that make this car an absolute steal.
