While other compact SUVs try to look intimidating and rugged, the Hyundai Kona manages to pull off that attempt very effectively. The most impressive highlight of Hyundai Kona’s exterior design, for me is the way the headlamps and tail lamps are designed, with a soft casing around them giving the Kona a distinctive appeal. However, I do wish that the front bonnet as well as roof line, along with more ground clearance, was raised a bit higher, which otherwise would have given the Hyundai Kona a good heightened stance. By the stance, the Hyundai Kona feels more like a raised hatchback rather than an SUV. However, all that feels like small niggles the moment you begin to drive it, for the Hyundai Kona has amazing driving dynamics with almost negligible body roll, which is a good thing about an SUV.
