a high raised hatchback with SUV character
Before going forward with the Hyundai Kona, I was sceptical about it, for it looks more like a hatchback on stilts with off road design bits, rather than an SUV. However, the visual appeal of the Kona is simply refreshing, and I particularly like the cladding job around the headlamps and lamps on the rear bumper. Even the floating type touchscreen infotainment system is eye catching, in my opinion. However, unlike the couple of Hyundais which I have owned before, the Kona feels very agile and sorted to drive, with adequately weighted steering and great suspension setup. Though, I do feel that it was more comfortable, as the SUV’s rear seat space is slightly cramped for taller people in my family. The best part, however, remains its distinctive styling, which has received a lot of praises from my near and dear ones.
