The Formula Edition is equipped with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, which is capable of delivering a maximum power of 169 hp and the peak torque is 226 Nm. It is mated to a CVT transmission and gets the 4x2 front-wheel-drive guise.

The Koleos Formula Edition rides on the ‘Proteus’ 19-inch alloy wheels having black centre caps along with black side mirror caps. Moreover, the Formula Edition stickers and the silver side steps are also featured. The mid-sized SUV is available in different exterior colour options, Metallic Grey, Metallic Black, and Universal White.

The common features of the Zen and Koleos Formula Edition are reversing camera, auto emergency braking (AEB), parking sensors for front and rear, lane departure warning, sat nav, heated front seats, blind spot monitoring, and faux leather trim. The car comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen display placed on the dash. It also gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
