Nissan teases 2020 Juke, to be revealed on 3rd September
2020 Nissan Juke has been teased ahead of its debut in September. The carmaker has released an image, which flaunts the upcoming vehicle's second-generation split headlight design.
It looks like that the 2020 Nissan Juke will get adventurous styling along with the hybrid technology. The place above the circular headlights is taken by LED Daytime Running Lights DRLs). Hence, the car comes with a two-tiered design similar to that of its predecessor.
Juke gets a prominent grille that is similar to what was found on the Gripz concept. Moreover, some of the spy photos of the new Juke also specifies that the aforementioned concept shares some styling cues with it. The new Juke will get the same taillight shape as the current car.
It is built on the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi CMF-B platform, which can be seen in the new-generation Renault Clio too. Also, a range of small-capacity turbocharged petrol engines or oil burners can be offered with this. The PHEV versions or all-electric variants can also be provided at the same point.
The new Nissan Juke will be unveiled at the upcoming 2019 Frankfurt motor show. The unveiling will be followed by the arrival of the same in the Australian market in late 2019 or in early 2020.
Peter Bedrosian, the product planning chief of Nissan Europe said, “People are moving from sedans and hatches into SUV-type vehicles – and that’s happening globally, not just in Europe. On top of that, there’s electrification, so it’s a perfect combination. We’re working on several powertrain options at the moment.”
