McLaren to premiere new Long Tail model at McLaren Technology Centre on March 3

The Geneva Motor Show might have been canceled, but that does not stop the excitement level. While many automakers are remapping their plan of action post the news, McLaren seems to be unmoved at this. The supercar maker has confirmed that there is big news coming on the 3rd of March, though at a different show.

Head to the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking (Surrey), UK and McLaren has promised a major press conference. This event will be headed by Mike Flewitt, The CEO of McLaren Automotive and will be focused on business updates and other product news. The event will also be a center for the global reveal of a new supercar from Mclaren, something that will strike the automobile enthusiasts most.

McLaren new Long Tail model

We can only assume now, but there are pretty strong chances that the McLaren supercar slated for a premiere could be a new model in the LT lineup, the 750LT. The car has been seen doing rounds at the Nürburgring, though it was wrapped in camouflage.

And just like there is no confirmation on the premiere news of the new product, we cannot even say with absolute claim what the configuration would be like. However, there have been many rumours that claim that the McLaren 750LT would be powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo, V8 engine that could produce up to 740 horsepower.
