Ahead of the official debut at the upcoming Los Angeles Motor Show, Hyundai teased its new plug-in hybrid concept Vision T through a couple of shadowy images. This concept is the seventh in the series of Hyundai Design Center concepts. Nothing is yet confirmed whether the previewed vehicle is a new coupe crossover or a future production model.

The Vision T teaser images feature a coupe-like roofline, square wheel arches, bold and sharp slashes, and portray a carved look of the vehicle. The regular door handles and side mirrors are replaced by cameras. In the front, there is an intricate front grille pattern comprising essentially active panels which act as air shutters.

As per the firm, the grille becomes a solid surface when stationary and when in motion the individual facets move in a prescribed sequence which enhances the vehicle’s aerodynamics. It also features a Hidden Signature Lamp derived from the recently revealed Grandeur facelift and the earlier Le Fil Rouge concept.

If you observe the teased images closely, you can find it similar to the new Tucson spied at the Nurburgring recently. The front grille, angular wheel arches, and the side slits resemble the all-new Tucson.
