Ford reveals 2020 Mustang, will arrive in Australia on November 2019

Ford has given a huge update to Mustang sports car for the 2020 model year. It now comes with a new visual enhancement pack along with the retro-inspired colour options. Also, the carmaker has announced that vehicle will hit to the local shores this November.

2020 Ford Mustang will come with four new colour options including the eye-catchy 'Grabber Lime'. It is taken from the brand’s heritage palette as it is similar to the North American spec Mustang’s 'Grabber' finish, which was available during the 1970s. Other colours are Twister Orange, Red Hot, and Iconic Silver.

The car rides on the ten-spoke special dark finish 19-inch alloy wheels. Frequent usage of black is also visible on the coaster. The roof, bonnet stripes, side stripes, Pony grille badging and 5.0L badging on the front guards, all get the black paint job. 

The carmaker has not spoken much about the pricing of the 2020 Mustang. It is expected that it will reveal the details soon. Currently, the pricing of the Ford Mustang starts from $ 49,990, which will get you the manual-equipped Mustang EcoBoost Fastback. The maximum price tag is $74,728, which is for the auto-only Mustang GT Convertible.

Ford Australia’s CEO and president, Kay Hart said, “The Mustang is an icon, and Australian customers have been asking for more ways to customize and individualize their particular vehicle, so we’re pleased to offer more ways of doing just that."

He also added that the 2020 Ford Mustang is a unique option for a high degree of customisation. Furthermore, it is for the first time that Ford’s Service Price Promise and Service Benefits program are the part of the car’s ownership.

Under the Ford Service Benefits program, the scheduled maintenance of four years/60, 000 km will now cost $299 (including GST).
