Crafted edition of Lexus NX and RX introduced in Australia
Lexus has launched a new pair of special-edition models based on the RX and NX crossovers in Australia, which feature additional specifications to the entry-level variants for a slight increase in the price. In addition to that, both the crafted models are based on the Luxury trim level and come with all the engine options of the NX and five-seater RX.
Scott Thompson, Lexus Australia CEO, stated, “We have developed the Crafted packages to enable customers to enjoy the benefits of a substantial suite of desirable new luxury features without stepping to a higher grade.” The limited edition SUV trims feature enhanced equipment levels and are available with drive-away pricing.
The special-edition NX is prepared with both NX300 and NX300h engine alternatives, along with front and all-wheel drive. There are many add-on features such as a 360-degree camera system, bizarre 18-inch alloy wheels in a machined/black finish, illuminated ‘Lexus’ front-door scuff plates, black exterior accents (front grille and mirror caps) and a smart key card.
Moving to the exterior design, there are nine exterior colours available and two interior colourways. Lexus is presenting the NX300 Crafted 2WD from $62,888 drive-away, while the standard NX300 Luxury 2WD starts at $54,800 excluding the road tax and $61,000 drive-away in Victoria. Moreover, the AWD variant of NX300 is offered at $66,306 along with on-road costs.
The upgrades in the RX300 flaunt a power moonroof, a colour head-up display, 20-inch black alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch high-definition infotainment system, a 15-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, and front-door projector courtesy lamps. The RX300 Crafted is on offer from $79,888 drive-away in Victoria.
