Aston Martin brings customisation package for DBX

The Aston Martin DBX is one of the most awaited SUV from the British automaker. However, it is not launching now and is slated for May. But yes, before its launch, Q by Aston Martin, the personalisation arm of the automaker, has already brought something interesting.

The customised Aston martin DBX looks rather subdued in its appearance. It is offered in many colour options, but more focus has been made on the attention to detail. The body is highly sculpted and is done in a matte Satin Xenon Grey paint job. There are carbon fibre additions on the door mirror fender vents and the lower body trim. The large 22-inch wheels are done in black alloys.

Similarly, even the cabin gets a good visual change. The seats are done in Obsidian Black leather upholstery but have been given a better touch with the addition of contrasting stitches. The cabin also gets diamond pattern trim inserts that are machined from solid aluminium. There are attractive inserts on the door insides and the centre console. These inserts are said to have been made from solid blocks that contained 280 hand-laid layers of carbon fibre. Even the cargo floor has carbon fibre done in a herringbone pattern.

Marek Reichman, the executive VP and CEO at Aston Martin has quoted that the personalised Aston Martin DBX shown here is a rather conservative one. Of course, the SUV itself is a great canvas to encourage such customisations and upgrades. So, more in-depth detailing and styling can be made available in the coming months, post its launch.

Customised DBX

Besides this, for the customers who are looking for more affordable versions of this customised DBX, there is the ‘Q by Aston Martin - Collection’. This package contains carbon fibre trims on the exterior, sill plaques and black anodised tread.

The ongoing DBX, available in Australia boasts on a powerful engine that can churn out a maximum power of 550 PS and a peak torque of 700 Nm. The 0-100 kmph (approx) can be done in just 4.5 seconds, thanks to the availability of instantaneous torque.
