Lexus has revealed the new RX price and specs, the facelifted and updated version of 2019 Lexus RX. The all-new 2020 Lexus RX is ready to hit the showrooms in the first week of October with newly added specifications and price range across the large luxury SUV line-up.

The updated range starts with RX300 Luxury which is now $1600 cheaper comes at a price of $71,920 (exclusive on-road costs).

Lexus RX front

The updated Lexus RX specs include -

  • A new 12.3-inch display which replaced the existing 8-inch unit, and comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity
  • Smart entry and start
  • Power steering column 
  • Rear privacy glass 
  • Satellite navigation 
  • DAB+
  • Wireless smartphone charging
  • 12-speaker audio
  • Back guide monitor
  • Automatic headlamps and wipers
  • Automatic high beam

Lexus RX cabin

The 2020 Lexus RX safety features include following standard appointments:

  • 10 airbags
  • Blind-spot monitor 
  • Rear cross-traffic alert brake
  • Night-time pedestrian and daytime cyclist detection 
  • Autonomous emergency braking systems
  • All-speed active cruise control linked with lane-trace assist and road-sign assist 
  • Parking support brake system with smart clearance sonar and rear cross-traffic sensors 

Lexus RX side rear

The AWD RX350 is powered by petrol V6 turbocharged with an eight-speed auto, producing 300 PS of power and 370 Nm of torque which is the same as the popular 2019 Lexus RX 350. The other variants also have the same engine specs.

Front-wheel-drive Lexus RX300 model is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with a six-speed auto delivering 238 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque.

While the higher variant AWD hybrid RX450h is powered by V6 petrol-electric system produces the combined output of 312 PS of power and 335 Nm of torque.
