2020 Land Rover Defender image leaked

Ahead of its official debut, Land Rover Defender 2020 image is snapped on the sets of an upcoming movie. The new generation SUV will be seen in the James Bond movie “No Time To Die” and it is expected from the leaked image that it has gone through a lot of changes to attain compatibility with Bond’s movie.

From the leaked image, it can be inferred that the new Defender borrowed various styling cues from its predecessors. The butch appeal is still present but in a more polished package. Classic Defender features a large hood, pronounced wheel arches, boxy underpinnings, and rough edges. An interesting fact is that it still comes with the Alpine windows which are mounted high up on the roof above the side window panel.

According to the leaked spec sheet, the Defender will come in three body styles- 90, 110 and 130. All the styles include an automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel-drive along with a choice of six engines. The engine options include petrol and diesel with reports of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit making its way to lower variants to a turbocharged 6-cylinder unit making its way to higher variants. The 110 body style comes with 5/6/7 seat options is expected to be seen in October this year. The Defender 90 comes with 5/6 seats and the Defender 130 includes 8 seats. The expected variants to come in the UK are Standard, S, SE, HSE, and X trim lines.

The standard features included in the entry-level variants are LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, fabric seats with eight-way electrical adjustment upfront, a 140W six-speaker sound system, a 10.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and 7.0-inch multifunction display. Top-spec variants are expected to have 16-way electric seat adjustment, leather upholstery, a 14-speaker 740W Meridian sound system, matrix LED headlamps, 20-inch alloy wheels, and a 12.0-inch digital instrumentation screen.

As reported, the Land Rover is not happy about the leaked image and has asked the people to take the picture down from Instagram.
