2020 Ford Mustang 2.3L High Performance arrives in Australia
The Ford Mustang fans have something to cheer about as the bettered version of the muscle car is here in the Australian market. The 2020 Mustang 2.3L High Performance is a replacement to the model that was known as the Mustang EcoBoost.
This new 2020 Ford Mustang 2.3L High Performance is available in two body types - convertible and fastback. There is a lot of cosmetic changes as well, which include a new grille design upfront. The 19-inch alloy wheels are the same as before but are now machine finished. The wheels are shod Pirelli tyres, against the Michelins for the GT version.
At the heart of the mechanism, the new Mustang has a tuned-up 2.3-litre engine that produces 316 hp of power and 448 Nm of peak torque. These figures are higher than the predecessor made (300 hp and 441 Nm). The increase in power has resulted from the use of a larger turbocharger that is used in the Ford Focus as well. As for the transmission, there is a 6-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic gearbox offered as options.
The new model is available in Twisted Orange and Grabber Lime colour options. The Fastback version is sold at $50,990 for the manual and $53,990 for the automatic. The convertible, on the other hand, goes for $60,490.
