Pricing of BMW M240i coupe revised in Australia

BMW Australia has revised the drive away price of the M240i coupe. It now gets a $74,900 drive away price, which is $ 4,200 drive away cheaper than the previous pricing. As the M140i hot hatch is dropped, the BMW M240i coupe is now the most affordable car to get the Bimmer’s 250kW B58 straight-six mill.
The car is equipped with a 3.0-litre twin-scroll turbo inline-six engine as mentioned earlier. It can make a maximum power of 335 hp power and the peak torque is at 500 Nm. The engine is the same as the one found in Toyota GR Supra, which is priced a bit more than the M240i. Also, the BMW Z4 M40i gets the same mill, which is more expensive than it. The engine takes just 4.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph. The fuel efficiency of the car is 14.1 kmpl on the combined cycle.
As for the specifications, the car comes with metallic paint, a sunroof, the double-spoke 18-inch alloys, etc. Getting inside, the vehicle comes with an 8.8-inch multimedia touchscreen display having satellite navigation. Moreover, there is a 12-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system along with a 20GB internal hard drive.
Other features include keyless entry, a wireless smartphone charger, Alcantara trim, etc. The light city braking function, lane departure warning, reversing camera and collision alert is included as the safety features. Furthermore, it comes equipped with M Sport brakes having multi-piston front callipers. The grey front grille treatment and the black side mirrors along with adaptive M suspension are also provided.
The M240i with the new price is available for booking, while the cars are expected to hit the shores in Q4 of 2019.
