Mitsubishi teases 2020 Pajero Sport update
Mitsubishi has teased the update for 2020 Pajero Sport. The current model was launched back in 2015 and it was one of the bestselling ute-based SUVs in the market. It even hunts the best-selling Isuzu MU-X by merely 500 sales year-to-date and has conveniently outsold the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Everest, and Holden Trailblazer. Although there are not many details available about the latest model, Mitsubishi is preparing a facelift for the Pajero Sport.
The teaser image and the Triton can provide us with some direction about the car. You can expect it to flaunt a more robust, slightly fatter version of the brand's dynamic shield grille and twitched headlight graphics. Just like the Triton, Pajero Sports is likely to get equipped with better quality interior and added active safety tech compared to the current car. The current version already offers decent safety features such as autonomous emergency braking as standard. The top-end trim features a surround-view monitor, blind-spot monitoring and a system crafted to avoid wrong-pedal accidents at low speed.
Currently, the Pajero sports comes equipped with a 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine, which is capable of churning out a maximum power of 178 hp of power and a peak torque of 430 Nm.
For more information about the latest version, we have to wait for the car to launch. It is expected to reveal on July 25.
