BMW 2020 X6 pricing and specs unveiled
BMW Australia is ready to roll out the all-new SUV Coupe X6 'Sports Activity’ range in the last quarter of the year. The new X6 features a massive kidney grille and other styling elements that are in-tune with modern BMWs. It is based on BMW’s Cluster Architecture (CLAR) platform and is available in three variants- xDrive30d, xDrive40i, and M50i xDrive.
The xDrive30d priced at $121,900 is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six diesel producing 265 PS power and 620 Nm peak torque with channeling drive to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The xDrive 40i comes with a price bracket of $124,900 and uses a 3.0-liter inline-six petrol motor churning out 340 PS power and peak torque of 450 Nm. The top-spec of X6 range is M50i xDrive until the launch of X6 M, priced at $155,900 and include a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 making 523 PS power and a solid 750 Nm of torque,
The standard equipment list of BMW X6 features the M Sport Package incorporating 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in bi-color finish, M Sport brakes, Vernasca leather upholstery, and aluminum interior trim inserts. Navigation will be standard, and the X6 comes with Driving Assistant Professional package, Parking Assistant Plus including a surround-view camera, and Live Cockpit Professional including a 12.3-inch driver instrument and infotainment displays. Standard luxury features include a huge panoramic sunroof, ambient cabin lighting, heated front seats, and keyless passive entry.
Other features include a head-up display, adaptive M suspension, automatic tailgate, '2.5' zone climate control, adaptive LED headlights with high-beam assist, a one-year subscription to Connected Package Professional including wireless Apple CarPlay integration, DAB digital radio, and a wireless smartphone charger.
The option to customize your vehicle is also provided by the automaker. For this, three different packages are designed, the first on the list is an Indulgence Package, comes in at $6600 for M50i, $7800 for xDrive30d and xDrive40i. It adds active seat ventilation, soft-close doors, comfort seats, front and rear heated seats, glass trim pieces and a massage feature for the front seats. Moving to the next, there is an Iconic Package coming with the additional price of $5000 for xDrive30d and xDrive40i, it upgrades the vehicle with metallic paint, 22-inch light-alloy wheels, and the all-new BMW 'Iconic Glow' illuminated front grille. And in the last, there stands an xOffroad Package, expensive among all, priced at $7500 for xDrive30d and xDrive40i and adds off-road styling, adaptive air suspension, and the BMW Display Key.
