Porsche revealed 911 Belgian Legend Edition

Porsche has recently unveiled its 911 Belgian Legend Edition to mark the 75th birthday of racing legend Jacky Ickx. The car is exclusively available in the former racer's homeland, Belgium, to mark the racer’s wins in practically every racing discipline. 

The limited-edition car is based on the automaker's current generation of the 911 Carrera 4S and features an updated styling based on the Ickx's blue and white helmet. The car is limited to just 75 units and comes wrapped in an exclusive shade of dark blue titled "X Blue".

On the inside, the limited-edition vehicle is offered in complete black leather throughout along with Pebble Grey cross-stitching and Ickx's signature on the central leather armrest. Users can also find the racer’s autograph on the B-pillar badge, including a Belgian flag.

Born in Brussels on January 1, 1945, Ickx is recognized as one of the most significant race car drivers of the last century and is renowned worldwide for his astounding victories in almost every track race. Jacky is famous for overwhelming performance at eight Formula 1 Grands Prix, the 1979 Can-Am Championship, the Dakar Rally, and even for winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans, six times. 

The Carrera 4S "Belgian Legend Edition" is run by a twin-turbo flat-six engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 444 hp and generates peak torque of up to 530 Nm. Moreover, the car rolls on a 20 and 21-inch alloy wheels combo, also finished in the same colour with white laser engraved accents.

The limited-edition offering by the automaker is also the very first special edition to spawn from the 992-gen Porsche 911. The vehicle is all set to be available at the initiative of Belgian Porsche importer, D'ieteren. Although no pricing details have been released, we can expect the 911 Carrera 4S Belgian Limited Edition to come at a price tag of more than €131,381, which is the starting price of Carrera 4S Coupe in Belgium.
