Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo officially unveiled
Lamborghini is the latest car giant to join the list of auto manufacturers working on their versions of the Vision Gran Turismo. It recently unveiled the Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo, which is expected to be virtually available sometime next year.
Lamborghini’s iteration of the Vision Gran Turismo is a single-seater that resembles a spaceship, highlighted by Y-shaped light signature at both ends. Another vital element that stands out is the hexagon-inspired theme on the side windows reminiscent of the Marzal from the late 1960s.
The ingress into the cabin is from the front. There are a bunch of exterior elements such as rear wing mirrors and air-vents that improve it aerodynamically. Moving to the cabin, it sports a progressive design and equips a modish steering wheel that projects all requisite information virtually for assisting the driver better.
The cabin also gets a “halo” featuring additional control; it is placed well within reach of the driver. Mechanically, it borrows the V12 engine from the Sian; this unit works with an electric motor that is integrated into the gearbox. And there is a supercapacitor also that makes up to 819 PS of power.
The model represents Lamborghini’s virtual vision, featuring a futuristic design tailored for the racing game and super sports enthusiasts, Stefano Domenicali, chairman and CEO of Lamborghini was quoted as saying at the event.
Mitja Borkert, Head of Lamborghini Centro Stile, was also in attendance at the grand unveiling of Lamborghini’s virtual car. According to Borket, the Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo aims at the young fans; in his words, ‘it is the ultimate virtual car’ for the gamers who admire Lamborghini as a brand and its futuristic aspirations. This is also an opportunity for the Lamborghini designers to push their boundaries and create a futuristic design that not only appeals visually but also offers great driving experience, he further added.
