"If a child seat is installed into the front passenger seat without the airbag system being deactivated, there is a risk of serious injury to the child,'' said the previous recall.
The recall included 2018 Peugeot 3008 SUVs sold from 1 September 2018 to 30 September 2019, and the automaker similarly contacted the customers to fix the issue by removing the top-tether anchor point from the front passenger seat free of cost.
